This is the first try of my ND-filter.. I was not quite sure about it, because it looked horrible in colors. That's why I changed it into B/W and now it's acceptable.

It's difficult: I'm new into Landscape photography as well as in Long-Exposure photography, which means: I try two different styles at once.
Could you give me some critique, please? Telling me what I could have done better, etc?

Lens: 18-55mm at 18mm + ND1000x filter, 69.7 seconds.

Very nice picture, I am not a photography expert but I've read some articles about where to place your horizon and this could be a proper example of a good composition. I like black & white, makes you focus on the sky movement.

This is a great first try, Olivia!

It's true that colors often don't look good in shots like this, which is why you see so many b+w long exposures around here. The colors can be very distracting.
The only real issue I see is that the left side is a little empty.
If you moved to your right and closer to the tower (like 2 o'clock), you probably could have captured the tower behind the trees (the one which the wires lead to).
The other ones towering in the distance on the far right look interesting too.
You might want to invest in a good circular polarizer too, as it will reduce any harsh light in the sky and make clouds look better.
Oh and always try to use the rule of thirds. :)

Thank you!

It really was a first try, and I'm motivated to continue, because I love the clouds being so fluent!
Many people told me to invest in a polarizer, but I'm broke now and cannot invest.
Let's see what opportunities Greece gives. :eager:

Yeah, it really gives the photo a dreamy look.
That should be a great opportunity. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
