Okay, this is my first critique, so don't blame me on the failure. First off, lets start with the positive aspects.
1) I love how you caught the furry friend in a once in a life aspect shot. It is very unlikely to see a feline stay in that position long enough to whip out a camera.
2) I like how you centered the attention on the feline's head, as that is where the viewers would look first.
Now for the critique.
1) I would have not focused on the bark quite as much, and would at least show the cat's paw in a less blurry position. I mean, it's cool to see the cat's claw, right?
2) I think the viewers would be hit with astonishment a bit more if the photo was in color, and not in black and white. I've seen your other photos and this kitty's eyes are beautiful, and that would have made me giggle a bit more at her/his position.
Overall, I think your photography is great and you must have a talent as I wouldn't be able to shoot this well with my crummy camera! I look forward to seeing more of your work!
