Stand here all alone. by dragonfly-oli Stand here all alone. by dragonfly-oli
Und immer, wenn mein Herz nach dir ruft
Und das Chaos ausbricht in mir drin
Schicke ich meine Soldaten los
Um den Widerstand niederzuzwingen.… Maxim - Meine Soldaten

Sorry, I could not translate the Text into English, because it would have destroyed the whole feeling in it.
Listen to the song, even if you cannot understand the lyrics. You will feel it.

I am not that good with giving critique, I hope you don't mind me sharing some impressions and trying to evaluate a bit.

I really like the feeling your picture evokes, although it is a sad one.
Everything of your picture becomes part of this feeling, the colours the composition as well as the "lonely" flower.

The highlighted circles look like blurred raindrops, gives me the impression of a rainy day. (Like little tears blurring the vision.) The white petals of the flower are a little contrasting to that, because it looks like they are stretching towards the sky, towards these raindrops. It is like the flower is welcoming the rain, welcoming the tears. (Most flowers would close their blossom.)

The colours of this picture are generally very interesting.
First of all, all colours which can be seen in this picture are "cold colours" (black, dark-violet, blue, green, white) which fit the whole sad theme.
Then there are the darker colours which centre around an highlighted area, which is next to the white petals of the flower.
Although this flower is the main focus in this picture, the area with the lighter colours is in the centre of the whole quadratic picture. This is the reason this picture gets this emotional touch to it.

This gets me to the main theme in this picture; I'd say it is like the title says: "stand here all alone". Though it is the main theme I'd say that it isn't true at all. Although the flower is the only white one in this picture it isn't alone. There are other flowers and plants around it. The interesting part here is how you chose the focus, all those other plants are blurred into the background. This seems to be intentionally executed and gets me the song "Meine Soldaten" which verse you put into your description.

I'd say that the song by Maxim is about the inner Chaos, a way to force oneself to forget. (Wonderful song by the way.) This song is fitting your picture quite well.
Like in the song it's like the flower is blinding out those unwanted feelings. (In your picture the other blurred plants and the surrounding.)
But actually like the lyrics of another part of "Meine Soldaten" ("Die ganze Fassade klappt wie ein Kartenhaus in sich zusammen.") it is impossible to blind everything out. (The surrounding of the flower is still there.)

All those feelings, wether they are blinded out or not, becomes part of your picture. With the colours, the focus and the compostion.

This is a very beautiful picture and I like the emotional feeling to it. The song you chose to put fits quite well I think.

I hope that I explained the feelings and impressions your picture evoke quite understandable.
Remains for me to say if you are not happy with my evaluation feel free to decline my critique, I know it is quite a lot. So thank you for reading. <3

Keep up your beautiful photography. :+favlove:

Well first things first this is an amazing picture and I love it so much, I think the background is really nice I love the colours on the background.

What I will say though is I think the flower also blends a little bit to much with the background so what I would say is if you used an effect to make the flower stand out a bit more to the rest of the photo such as zoom/focus or even using some kind of computer software just to give the flower that little bit more detail and make it a little bit more of an attraction.

But other than that good photo.
