Description

Say what you want to say. I'm proud of my ladybird-pictures! You ask why? I do not edit them!

Actually I wanted to take some pictures of the first snowdrops this year, but Dad found two ladybugs and gave them to me and I used them as models.
I took several ones, so look forward to see better shots than this one here!

This is a really good photograph! Congratulations!

The theme of a bug on a leaf has been used and done before but sometimes a small change in technique, lighting or camera position can do a whole world of difference.

What really does it is how you use a blurred background to really entice the viewer to the bug itself and not the trees, grass, etc... on the background.

The lighting on the bug is of good quality too. You can see it's individual legs and other small details, like it's belly without having to strain the eyes.
What the lighting also helps doing is add a sort of purpose to the picture. As now it looks as if the ladybug is crawling towards the light, the end of it's journey maybe?

Great photo albeit the lack of a really original subject, but the technique and vision do more then scale things up!
